The pen can be mighty — mighty heavy, that is. Picking it up can be a challenge for even the most motivated writer.  At such times, the support of fellow writers can be invaluable.  Or maybe you can use the inspiration and insight from a small workshop led by someone who has been there.  Perhaps all it takes is an evening in the company of gentle like minds.  HIWA brings writers together for workshops, conferences and readings.

A one year membership runs July through June.
